A solid spot to stop and eat at while going through town. I had the plum wine and liked it.
Cathay Garden will always be my favorite! The owners are amazing, always so kind! The food is always delicious! Best Chinese food ever!
Such an authentic place, their food and service is amazing and worth the price, we go at least once a month if not 2 times. Just ask and they make anything out of shrimp. Like the General TSO Chicken, if you want shrimp instead they'll make you General TSO Shirmp it's the best. They always use fresh ingredients and have always been friendly. They cook Quickly and Efficiently. Their worth every penny.
I'm in Portage doing some sporting, and I haven't been feeling the greatest this week. I tell you, this is the only thing that made me feel better! Some rice and some tea really hit the spot! The lady who took my order (and gave me my food) was very nice!
The latest owners have revamped the place. It's brighter & cleaner. Carpet seems cleaner too. There's no more damp smell. Very good food & service. Lunch specials also are generous size.
Very friendly people. Also very accommodating. I asked if they could make my food without any msg and they were happy to. The food tasted great! Definitely will order again.
We had a awesome lunch this afternoon,The owners are the most hospitable and friendly that you will find in Portage. The food is always fresh and the servings are over the top. Has not disappointed in the 10 years we have been going there. Keep up the good work.
This was my fiance first time here. I was with my step daughter and fiance. We had egg drop soup it was good but she was not used to it being orange in color. Fried rice was not the best but the rest of the food was amazing will be coming back here again in the near future. The picture are what we ordered and we did have a Togo order for my other step daughter so she could take it to work .
